question about plant size

first thing i would do is buy seeds from an indica strain that has the short and squatty characteristics you want and run with it

good call but my seed selection is kind of limited because im getting them from a friend... they might be indica though anyway...

and NoobRyder do you mean start with 12/12 when the plant is a seedling?

Dude you want to search topping and fim techniques... you can make some nice bushes for limited space and get tons of tops...colas (tops) is what we are after right?

look at my grow journal in my sig. its primarily sativa (80%?), but they bred it so that it has the height of an indica. i did LSTing, and my plants are only about 1.5' tall, but extremely bushy.

my sig has lots of pictures. look at the last 5 pages for a good idea of what they look like.

edit: i see you only have a limited selection. you can Lst, which will cause more branching and you can keep it as high as you want.
