keep ur lights low enuf ur plant doesnt have to stretch but not so close they get burnt also u can trim it after awhile to keep it from getting to tall its best to trim then wait awhile for a couple new nodes to grow b4 trimming again, the best thing to do with ur lights is to allow them to grow on almost 24-0 or 18-6 or watever u choose until u get the height u desire then switch to veging stage which is 12/12

yes thats tru but if u start the flowering at the rite time then u can predict fairly close to wat ur plants height is gunna b

lol... its all about how you grow..yes strain is important... but ultimately that is all based on a few things..

1 veg time.
2 nutrition
3 environment
4 strain specific characters (phenotypes)

allot of people on here will say ..

...trust me.. grow a few and youll know what i mean.

my first plant is bout 8 inches tall and i have 3 that r about 4-5 inches.... i toped the bigger one... but how long should i wait before budding

u can topp which means that u cut off the main cola or u can lst which means u tye down the top so that the sides grow in which will give u a more bushy plant

after doing LST and seeing how easy it is without shocking the plant, i vote for that. if you tie the main cola, all the side ones turn essentially into main colas instead of just getting 2 or 4 with trimming

i was thinkin of lst'n my plant its about 5 weeks old but im not sure wen to do it plus ive got a height limit of only 2 ft so if i start now or wait would it matter. also hasheesh r u gunna post any pics of ur baby cuz i kno id like to check it out as its grown cuz if ur like me i love spendin time with my girl and watchin her for growth haha always hopin to catch her doin sum crazy shit or sumthin

i think i will try lsting some time..for know i just dont want the extra time and i have plenty of height... I think for next your outdoors ill start lsting the clone... How long do you think before the side shoots establish as main stems? Meaning until they fatten up and grow... I have heard of people slting for a whole year to get a decent 5 foot bush...for know topping or better yet fimming is what i do.
