Is it safe to post photos from your phone? Is there any chance of law enforcement agencys tracking where a photo comes from?

It's a sad time in modern history when we have to worry about being spyed on by our government or agencies within.
Personally I wouldn't upload pics from a wireless source. I download mine from my phone onto a thumb drive, then upload them from my desktop. I'm not really sure if it's much safer, but it lets me sleep better at night lol.

I still worry because a lot of cops will say "I don't care if you have your card, under 2.5 oz, and no more than 12 plants. You can prove your innocence in court." Probably not in those same words, but you'll know by reading between the lines.
Yeah, you'll get off as long as those things are true and you only grow for yourself and/or assigned patients, but it's going to cost you the court costs and lawyer fees. Not to mention your reputation if you live in a small town, and the rep of your family/kids. Those are the things that go through my mind. I know I haven't done anything illegal, I stress about the other implications.

Thanks after reading up a little on the net I turned off in the security and location part on my phone. To make sure that it is turned off and check this you can go to your gallery on your phone and click on a photo and click on the more selection, then choose details and it will tell you when the photo was taken and if your location, lattitude, and longitude is on or not. A good way to check and really make sure.

That's true, BUT, its too late with pictures you've already taken before you turned off the Geo-tagging, ya kno what I mean? If you have GPS I recommend you turn that off too, because anyone can still dial into your location cause your phones still an open signal! Shit, I'd be more concerned with some joe blow hacker figuring out where I live than LEO'S!! But then again "Lock & Load Baby"!! LoL..

Heh heh heh rite!! I'm almost completely legal, 14 more days to go until the 21 day waiting periods up! Then...what is it a 4-5 month wait until we get our cards here in Michigan!

Oregon! Rite on! From what I've found online it used to take like 6 months to get the actual card itself, now its like 4-5 months I guess...

Good point. but already done. I run my smart phone off of wi fi when at home, only use the gps when on the road when i need to use navigation. Have not posted any photos but guess it does not really matter if your legal. Always good to try and stay one step ahead of the law if possible.

I hear if you make a tin foil hat they cant read your thoughts. come on guys from a logistical stand point i doubt they have the resources or the man power to go around busting everyone on the net. they would have to knock down 200000 doors in michigan thats just card holders not to mention illegals.
