Question about spores

Recently started a morel mushroom bed and read that if you take a gallon milk jug added a pinch of salt and a tablespoon of mollasses and a small chunk of the spore media that you could grow spores. Does this apply to the cubes? I am not 100% sure if this works or not but figured this is the place to ask. I am not currently growing cubes but doing research. I want to grow cubes to see if it will help ward off cluster headaches that I get every couple of weeks. Any advice from the pro's I would be gratefull for.

I know you can make spore prints from just from a cap. I mean couldn't you just like collect them when something like this...... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fAMC4JkVAZs happens? I may not really get what your asking but I wouldn't know how you could grow spores. Just collect them after you mushrooms grow. Only grew shrooms once and they weren't morels. And spore syringes are like 20 bucks all over the internet. I don't really see what you asking.

The reason I am asking is to harvest spores. Buy a syringe(spelling) and take a couple cc's and innoculate a gallon of water to have for further grows without having to buy more syringes. I am a newb at it and once I get more expperiance I will try prints

Best way is to grow out some bought syringe, then take some prints on foil for longer term storage while useing meat off on of the bigger first fruits to make an isolate or liquid culture which can be stored over the short term in the fridge.

My first grow was from a very faint spore print, did in a shotglass on the toilet with the door closed to stop air currents... it still worked...

hey man i was just reading about CH. i went to the hospital a couple years ago and they gave me some type of Acid but it wasnt Acid (mad you trip a little) anyways whatever that shit worked good and for a long time too. i had ran out of that medicine and have not been back to the doctors to get it but it worked good for me. now days i take Mushrooms once every 5-6 months adn this keeps it away for a good long time too. i no way condone tripping most of the time i only take enough to give me a buzz (reality is here. simple enough that how i feel. ithink we are already in heaven/hell/earth and i have no reason to escape my control non control of it) but i have some old spore i was thinkin about innoculating just to save up some shrooms and make some prints myself.

heres how to make some very simple prints. first steralize all tools the best you can(pressure cook what you can) you will need a thick dish rag a glass , a scalpel and of course a fresh shroom first remove shroom by hand by cafully pulling from the stem be careful not to touch the top, then place the shroom into bottom of cup and cut off stem put wet rag over top(cover whole glass so it is dark) and wait spores will fall off after a few days. take the rag off quikle remove mushroom and add VERY STERILE WATER a few ML will do then TAKE AVERY CLEAN syringe and suck it up put a cap on the end and put it inside a bag and label. keep inside the bag till use should last a very long time keep it out of the sunlight/light and keep it under 70 degrees

No. There is only one way to grow spores and that is to grow fruit and allow them to sporulate. If you are thinking of taking something for your cluster headaches, your best bet it to aquire some mexicana spores and grow sclorotia - you don't have to have a chamber, you don't have to work with humidity or fresh air exchange.

Do you have to go through the sterile process and jaring or can you grom them outdoors?

Although it must be possible, I have never heard of a reliable outdoor grow of Cubensis - and it all depends upon where you are. Sclorotia is your best bet, the only down side is waiting. Sclorotia will be very hard to grow out doors. With sclorotia, all you have to do is inject vented jars of rye grass seed with spores and put them in the dark. Come back several months later and pick out the pieces.
