Question about spraying buds

Hello everyone........I am curious if it is ok to lightly spray freshly cut buds with water before hanging them to dry. I have pesticides on them that apparently "wear off" by harvest time but I would like to be sure that as much of it is washed off as possible. Will this cause bud rot if they go straight on the drying line? Thank you.

I would throw them in the shower or something if my plants had pesticides on them, it shouldn't hurt them any. Just make sure to hang dry after and have good air flow to prevent mold.

idk if id spray them after id cut them...before id say np....but after id be afraid of rot....ur tryin to keep moisture out
