Question about the AZ Laws for mmj cultivation

So my mmj card renewal was approved for cultivation.
I read that we are allowed up to 12 plants &/or 2.5oz's.
But if I grow 12 plants, I think I'm going to have more than just 2.5oz's.
So would that put me into dangerous territory as far as the law is concerned?

If you are growing for profit you should be concerned. If it is for personal then you shouldn't have anything to worry about unless you tell people what you are doing. Just my .02

or you could do like me and go perpetual and harvest a plant every week or 2

I believe the law states that the 2.5 oz limit only applies to what you can get from a dispensary and travel with.

my understanding of the law is you can possess no more than 2.5 oz of usable (dry) bud and 12 live plants. any bud that is dry enough to smoke counts, but if it's too wet to smoke it wont count. so a 3 oz harvest would be illegal LOL. it's ridiculous i know. either run a perpetual only harvesting 1 small plant at a time, or like most people just be sure you never give any cops a reason to come to your grow

isn't there an "uninterrupted supply" clause.

4 types of marijuana in the AMMA...

1. Marijuana - means all parts of any plant of the genus cannabis whether growing or not, and the seeds of such plant.
2. Usable Marijuana - means the dried flowers of the marijuana plant, and any mixture or preparation thereof, but does not include the seeds, stalks and roots of the plant and does not include the weight of any non-marijuana ingredients combined with marijuana and prepared for consumption as food or drink.
3. Allowable amount of Marijuana -
(i) Two-and-one-half ounces of usable marijuana; and
(ii) If the qualifying patient's registry identification card states that the qualifying patient is authorized to cultivate marijuana, twelve marijuana plants contained in an enclosed, locked facility except that the plants are not required to be in an enclosed, locked facility if the plants are being transported because the qualifying patient is moving.
4. Incidental Marijuana - (c) Marijuana that is incidental to medical use, but is not usable marijuana as defined in this chapter, shall not be counted toward a qualifying patient's or designated caregiver's allowable amount of marijuana.


The key to your answer is right there...
