Hey there ROI!
I plan on starting a grow, the light cycle will be as follows:
Veg for 4 weeks - @ 16/8
Flower for 8 weeks - @ 12/12
Now my question is, if my lights cycle gets interrupted for 2 - 3 minutes(power goes off), how will this affect my plants?
How will it also affect them if they only get 6 hours of light instead of 12 or 16 on a couple of days per month? will this make them turn hermie? or force them into flowering?
Would you advise me to skip the veg phase and go straight to 12/12 from seed in case i have irregularities in my light schedule? My reasoning is if they are flowering from the get go (12/12 from seed), interruptions in the light cycle even for a few hours have no risk of flowering them (since they are already flowering from the start) But, will it hermie them?
What would you advise?
Thanks!
