Question about using aged horse manure as my compost ingredient?

Hello all, I am getting ready to mix my soil to fill my holes for my outdoor grow and was wondering if I can use 2 year old aged horse manure for my compost component? Basically I would use the aged horse manure plus top soil plus peat moss and perlite, rice hulls as my base. I would then add all my other amendments to this. Thanks all.

I advise against this unless you are hard up. You say composted but I’m betting it’s only aged and there’s a difference. Horse manure is not the best manure in the first place. If not properly composted it can heat up once wet and dark. But not sufficiently to kill weed seeds. If you do use it then use it sparingly.
