Question about when to flower and in what condition.

First grow and things are going ooohh so well. However, I'm afraid I waited too long to flower. I'm using 3 gallon pots and my plants are roughly 18" (almost 2 mo into veg). I just started the scrog and wanted to give them another week so I could work them into the nets, but Now I'm thinking I should just flower, as I'm afraid 3 gallons is going to be too small to make it all the way to harvest. Should I:

1. Transplant them into a 5 gallon pot and wait it out a couple of more weeks for them to adjust before flower or

2. Can I go ahead and flower them?

I would rather not re-pot them, but I don't want to sacrifice quality or quantity here, so I want to do it right. It's a sativa dominant hybrid. No other conditions are a factor for this grow (plenty of height, light and resources).

Thanks for any advice you can give me!

I say transplant them asap.
Get a 5 -6 gal pot fill it up halfway.
Cut thé bottom Of thé 3gal pot
And just put it in thé 5 gal
Then water
It will encourage roots to go down
Ima noob but it makes sense
It would be difficult and maybe damaging trying to take it out the 3 gal pot

No offence monkey but I would certainly not recommend he just cuts the bottom of the bucket and place it in a bigger bucket. Why wouldn't you want to the roots to use all new soil? To the OP I would say just go ahead and switch them over to flower if you already have a good 25% of your screen filled in. Expect your sativa to more than double (even triple!) in size when you switch over to flowering. Transplanting into a bigger bucket would certainly get your a bigger plant in the long run but like you mention, you would have to wait for in to adjust meaning another week or two. I'd say switch her over to 12/12 and let the real fun begin. Good luck growing howling.

I would flush plant first before repotting it .to get rid of salt build up then repot into larger pot it will help with the build up and allow more roots to develop and the larger the roots the bigger the fruits .wait one week and flower that bitch:eyesmoke:

3- a 5 I wouldn't think you would have to wait long.'like said above , flush out your sAlts and transplant .. Once they don't look like they're in shock flip them. You can stay in the 3s if you want .. But we don't know how many plants under what light in what size canopy so I really can't give you the best advise yet.
