i just started growing indoor
but i read a thread last night about a guy who would let his ladies out on the weekends for some nice powerful sunlight since he was doing 24 hour veg anyways it would work just to put them straight back under the lights

anyways my question i live in the back of a neighborhood and i have a just two neighbors that can notice my yard
is it a bad idea to do this
just
plants are only seedlings so you cant tell what they are anyways

just nervous im a new grower

I have neighbors on three sides - but I start mine in the backyard until they are about 9" to 12" tall, then out they go for transplant in the wild. I bury their pots/cups in the ground in a weedy area of the yard (the weeds are taller than they are) and they are pretty much unnoticeable - even if you are looking for them.

Smell isn't really an issue either when they are small. Just don't be stupid about it and line 200 of them up on your porch or window sills or something and you should be fine.

By the way, I have a 7' tall privacy fence so the neighbors can't even see me working in my yard and the plants aren't visible from the fence line due to bushes/trees... not sure I'd attempt it without a privacy fence or good cover. Sometimes neighbors get too nosy and it's just not worth taking much risk with it at your home. Has to be your own call in the end.

yo man I have 8 big girls outside.
No one knows what they are looking at.
A bear can teach a botany class better then any proffessor
People still get poison ivy even though an idustry is partyly supported by the remedy for the itch.
Your fine no one cares and no one has a clue.
PEACE JAH BLESS

This is my 1st time outdoors.
the girls are just starting to flower. However 12/12 wont start until 9/25/09
the question is do you think they will need to flower a few weeks after the 25th of Sept.?
thanks in advance

Jane - I personally don't sweat it much or at all if they are small. I just make sure that a nosy person can't see them by looking over my fence and that a meter-reader/cable repairman (or anyone else that might be near my backyard unannounced) won't be able to see them. Plenty of people park their indoor plants outside sometimes for the natural light from what I've read on here.

The biggest risk is probably going to be the possibility of contaminating your indoor grow-space (and any plants there) with an outdoor pest like mites.

you'd be surprised how many people know exactly what that shit looks like....but on the other side of the coin if they were one of those people that knew what it was...would they even care anyway?...
