QUESTION Install 8in can fan (906cfm) in 500cf closet

##Does my 8in can fan and 8in carbon filter need to be in the closet space or can they both be mounted in attic which is accessed directly above in the closet ceiling?

I have a 3by4by 7ft tall flower room and 2by4by 5ft tall veg tent (both in closet and basically in an adjacent corner formation) and Im gonna use a y-connector to pull air from both rooms. Is that cool?

## Can I also open a 3rd vent from 8in fan to draw from the closet area outside of the rooms? I want to create a negative pressure in closet so I can smoke my meds in there without smoke or air seepage. Thats why I got 906cfm fan for 500 cfm closet. To pull all air out of room ,I have a 6infan pulling through ac vent through cool tubed hood without new 8in fan. 400w/ MH also so temperature max since I got cool tubed is at 78 degrees. max over 2 weeks. Temp solved

906cfm??? thats overkill by like 9x, my 530cfm inline 6in could cool like 10 1000w lights, go take your fan back and downsize greatly because even with a fan speed controller its still gonna be overkill at lowest setting.

well I was told that better to over kill than to underkill and 500cfm barely does it plus I'm drawing of 2 rooms and closet space which will reduce air pressure.

906cfm must sound like a jet engine, yes mount it in the attic i would also suggest building a box around it and hanging it up with bungee cords/rope
