question lighting

Ok I have heard 2 things 24 hr light during veg and other combos 20/4 and so on so what is the best????? during veg???

for veg use 18 hours light and 6 hours of dark. thats what i hear

18on/6off is reccommended over 24on because the dark cycle promotes root growth which will keep the plant firmly rooted and will help the plant absorb food better.

I used to listen to them a few years ago. Then they came out with this album which was called "XIII" (I think?) and it was horrible. So not anything new from them.

I have a question I was at the hardware strore today......
I am useing 4ft fluorescent light phillips cool white I have about 40 lights any way this is what I found and I picked up 2 of them $9.99 each

dr j ott discoverd the remarkable effecs of specific wavelenghs of light have on plants it says on the box the dr j ott worcked for disney it also has award winner Garden club of america

if they work I will switch all my lights any one know anything about them???

In my opinion, you will not have enough light. I grow with floros, but I have 10 28w 6500k CFLs and 5 18w 24" eco-grow tubes. For flowering I will actually add 4 more CFLs and switch to 2700k.
