For a while but the bamboo or river cane change colors. The bamboo won't stick out more than the plant itself.
Hell I shore cropped some the other day and a I had was white medical tape. Two weeks later, cant see it. It wasn't that bad to begin with.

Yeah I'm gonna use bamboo and hope for the best..all I can do if I want a full harvest. I dont think the rollies will come chop three plants idk tho

ahh man my plants are secluded brotha a good minute atleast from a non busy trail..not to mention a week ago I saw a fuckin black bear starin me in the eyes and I made a bond with that beast to FUCK THE SHIT outta any thieves

Oh that's cool ...never seen that til now ....I have several sketch books full of art I like using shading pencils I have a whole kit .....I recently did some stuff with colored pencils ...new for me but turned out pretty cool ......that's my winter time hobby ..I also have been playing piano for over 20 years great stress reliever ...but ya very cool WB .......sorry OP don't mean to get off track
