question on cfl growing...

right now i just have 2 23 watt dayligth cfl bulbs on my plant. i got an orange all the way around colored cfl and its 13 watt. can i use that for a certain growing period????

Im not sure if that would work but you could try it. If you see bad effects on your plants simply remove it. But You're gonna need more than 2 23w CFLs period. 6500k for veg and 2700k for flowering, and atleast 100watts of TRUE lighting if you want to get anything off her.

shes only 1 week old i got alot more lights for her im only using 2 right now cause i ran into problems with her. and yea the orange is one of the party bulbs lol

Then, i say screw the party bulb and just go with more proper CFL bulbs lol also keep those CFLs close so you get tight nodes and she doesn't stretch on you.

she isnt stretching at all :D i love it but i think i was under watering her... i was using a spray bottle and only squirt watering her so i did a regular cup of water on her there was no drainage i had to loosen the damn soil up soil was bone dry at the bottome so i put a little more water in there and i saw run off finally!!! ends of the 2 big leaves are yellow/brown and now she is pushing out her 2nd set of big fan leaves and there drooping... i will water again in 2-3 days
