Question on drying / fresh air exchange

I am designing my drying unit.

This consists of a sealed unit with a dehumdifier integrated in to it, with humidity and temperature regulation.

Im curious to know if you actually need fresh air or can the air just be well circulated and dehumidified?

All thoughts and input welcome

anyone have any thought on this?
