Question on FoxFARM oceanforest

.....before you do anything go to the organic section and look for a similar prob as yours......... they dont need the cal-mg yet....

N def will show in the older leaves too as the plant uses it up as it grows, really becomes obvious in late flower......

Here: http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=11688 check out stitch's sick plant thread.......

You didn't say what soil they were in before the trans......because if it wasn't FF I 'd wait before doing anything......

I used Foxfarm Happy Frog mixed with some perlite.

I guess I will see if the foliar spray of the Revive worked. And then when I water tomorrow, I will add 1/2 tablespoon of epson salt per gallon when I water with plain water tomorrow.

Here are some pics I took today. One of the plants on the top growth on one of the new leaves, half of it is green and half of it is yellow. That is weird shit.

I am wondering if I will need to add lime or anything to the soil. I just transplanted two days ago and I used 6.2 ph water.

I am a happy Fox Farm/Oceanforest girl, but I don't know if I am the exception, but about 1 month into my flowering, my ph dropped terribly. I had a serious nute lockout and Calcium deficiency. I immediately added some garden lime and it reacted immediately to the ph issue. I gave it to all of my girls and will def. continue to do so for the future grows. It CAN'T hurt and it WILL buff your ph to neutral. I say go for it. It is ridiculously cheap and then you don't have to worry about the ph at all. Good Luck!!

........right on! Well surely come back and give a report how it's going for you:weed:......and as KushKing said, I 'd go ahead and give a light dose of Grow Big, if you have it-----they definately are N def------but go easy as it's HOT sh*t toooooo:hump:

Really hope it works out for you......:joint::bigjoint:

uh, what kind of water do you give? Ro water needs cal mag, aslo you should always add dolomite lime, about 1 cup a bag for the little rock version not the flour.

Also the nute idea looks good. Foliar feeding is a good way to get fast N to the plant. that is the point. good luck. go to organic. it is the shit and a half. I learn better than a grow book their.

Oh yes I have big grow.
Can I add the lime and the Big grow at the same time?

How much Lime do I add to the soil. I have them in 1 gallon containers. Do I sprinkle the lime or mix it with water?

The plants are growing good..Just the new growth is yellow.
One more question. It should be ok to do 1/4 teaspoon of big grow eventhough I transplanted into oceanforest a week ago? Thanks

Water only for initial transplant, and your first following watering
Then do 1/4 growbig

Tomorrow when I water..I will add 1/4 teaspoon of growbig and PH it and then hope it works. I will PH the runoff too. I have them in Gallon containers and when I watered them when I transplanted them, I only gave them like 10 oz. of water. Should I go ahead and soak the soil until I get some runnoff this time or just not? Thanks:weed:

I don't know man.. I'd still say Mg andor Zn issues. i know that doesn't help, haha, just agreeing.

The growbig isn't going to fix it if it's an Mg deficiency. That's why i suggested you feed the epsom salts. They are cheap, you can get it from a drug store. If you are scared to burn, feed 1/4 grow big, and 1/4 tsp epsom. 3 Feedings of epsom in the plants life will keep the plant really green and healthy.

Ok..thanks for you guys help! Will do tomorrow

I just saw that you said 1/4 teaspoon and I accidentlly just gave them 1/4 tablespoon of the epsom salt and 1/4 teaspoon of the Big Grow..Will 1/4 table spoon of the epsom salt be too much????? FUCKKK

I would definitely keep an eye out for a return nute lockout or you might want to consider givin' her a flush. I have read that magnesium toxicity is sort of rare, but doesn't mean it won't happen. I would say to flush and try to foliar feed with the 1/4tsp. epsom. Flushing can't hurt, right?

If you added the lime, you probably wouldn't even have to worry about the Mg, because it has that as well as Ca. I know its frustrating and stressful watching all of these symotoms, but remember they are heartier and stronger than we givem' credit for. They will be fine!:bigjoint:

You can check out my grow if you want. I had a similar issue!
