Question on light cycle

So I was looking on attitude seeds and under the description of Crimea Blue by Barney's Farm it says "They produce healthy seedlings which can be put under a 12/12 cycle as soon as they have their first couple leaves." I know as a general rule (or at least what I was told) you're not supposed to switch to 12/12 until it is 6 weeks old (after seedling and veg stage). So my question is are they saying that you can actually skip the veg stage with this strain or what? Seems confusing...

Thanks guys :leaf:

you can skip the veg stage with any strain if you want to.. i know tons of people that go straight from seed to 12/12. it all depends on how much you want to yield

well i know if u veg longer u would have a bigger yield but if you went straight to 12/12 would you yield 1/2 or 1/4 of what you would yield the regular way (6 weeks 18/6, then 12/12)?

Yield shouldn't matter, quality should. That being said, I only veg 4-5 weeks from seed and get 5+ oz.

No matter what they tell you on the web site, grow her and when she is the size of a basketball switch, you will then get another two feet or so of growth during the first few week of flower.
