Question on nutes

Right I'm a complete noob on growing and currently setting up a micro grow in a old PC using a bubbler, iv done loads of research and that but one thing I'm getting mixed up with is nutes
I want to use ionic grow bloom and boost
Are these easy to use?
Do you use them say grow for 4 weeks the bloom then boost? Or do I need to buy them all at once and mix them?
Like I say I'm a complete noob so don't laugh

I had in my head I could buy the ionic grow then when I get paid again I could buy the other 2 ( bloom and boost)

have not used that range but would imagine that grow will be for the veg cycle bloom for the flower and boost used during second part of flowering like pk 13 -14 or bloombastic

Yeh that's how iv seen it, how long is the veg cycle? I'm planning on growing easy Ryder
So I'm hoping I could just get the veg nute then get the others at a later date? I know nothing about nutes lol

if im not mistaken easy ryder is an auto? normally autos veg for about 3-4 weeks then start flowering i think you will be fine to do what your saying. i have used canna and other ranges but during veg now i use a simple £2.99 bottle from my local garden store and just use some proper bloom nutes

Ahh ur from UK? What do u use? I'm from UK aswell, not many garden places do this kind of stuff. Yeh its auto need to keep it small

i use a bottle from wilkinsons dont know the exact name but its £2.99 like i said give it at half strength to what it says on bottle and you will be amazed i have got some monster plants

Another quick thing do you use plain water until they get leaves then add nutes?

It'll be in rock wool with the clay pebbles

depends on youre medium and whats in it are you using soil and if so what soil

yeah i use standard tap water but i leave it to stand to dechlorinate im in soil at min and my tap water is 6.5 ph i never tamper with the ph never had to yet in soil. when i was growing hydro that was a whole different board game.

oh and yes just give them plain water for first couple weeks if you soak the rockwool in water then take out allow to dry a bit and plant seed it will have enough water in that cube for roughly 2-3 weeks dont over water biggest mistake most newbies make is watering them to death.

its ok the thread got mixed up some what. so rockwoll and clay peddles. well to be honest im a coco grower. but have ver close friends who grow using you're mediums. they swear by the iconic range. so you're already on the right track. you need a exp grower in this medium to help or you could go to iconic site and see if they have a feedingchart you could use to go by.

aint that great when you're tap water sits at 6.5 ph mine is 7.4. i pulled up the water report and found also that it was mag deficient as well till they can fix it(grow in coco to so not the best news lol). ****ing yorkshire water. its never seen water

I read somewhere if you soak the rock wool for 24hrs the drain it and dip the top in a very light nute solution it helps the seed?
I'll order the ionic stuff I think, sounds easiest. Iv got a ph level kit and test ordered, only thing left is seeds from somewhere, everywhere seems to be out of easy Ryder lol has anyone used headsite.com? They have them in stock but looks a little dodgy

go with vitalink max or canna , they have either hardwater or softwater versions choose the one for the water you have
