Question On Smurfberry Strain +rep for help

Hey all, was curious about Sagarmatha Seeds' Smurfberry strain. Anyone have any experience growing this? Was wondering the yield, potency, stink factor?

It says that it is out of stock... Did you already purchase the seeds?

No, was just looking for future purchace. I like the some of the auto flowers, but want to stay away from the cruddy ones...i know i know all ruderalis is cruddy lol

I am growing it right now. I am 7 weeks in and it has been growing side by side with some auto white russians. The WR are doing great acting just like and autoflower should. The Smurfberry are very healthy but have yet to start to bud. The WR already have big buds and begun to frost. I just put the Smurfs over on a 12/12 light schedule hoping to scoot them along. I am very disappointed. I would not recommend. If I ever get to a smoke report I will let you know. I hope it makes it worth my trouble.

Hey dallasmommy420, I had the same prob with a Smurfberry, went 6 weeks and grew into this big bush, so I gifted it to a friend to flower under 12/12. And the Sag Double Diesel did the same, so I tore her out. So for the time bein' stay away from Sag autos, they are a waste of $, IMO. pro

most of the new "auto"strains seem too be doing this.my afghan kush ryders and pakistan ryders didnt auto so i ahd to switch my lights to 12/12 after 5 weeks.if i were you i would stick to the joint doctor crosses or lowlife they seem too be reliable

Hey Proto thanks for the info. I could not figure it out the Lowlife White Russians are doing great and the Smurfberry just keep bushing. How did the SB do for your friend under 12/12 I just switched 2 of mine over but that is all i have room for. I guess the others will have to stay on 18/6 til the WR finish up. SAG Sucks.

I have 3 SMURFS from Sagamartha and they are in flower right now. They took about 4 weeks from seed to start showing white hairs I will post pics soon. They've been good to me.

Thanks for the input choke. So how old are they now. I kept mine 18/6 for 9 weeks. Now they have been on 12/12. Please post on how urs are doing. I have lots of budsites im excited about how they will turn out. thanks again.

Well you see being this is my first time growing any type of HERB I decided to go with the AUTO'S. My babies are doing GREAT I had one outside and super cropped it at 2 weeks( I'll post pics later today) it has a bushy top. MY second one ikept indoors uner a 600w HPS and a 400w MH. It has 11 bud sights. One smells like some sweet buds like sour candy if I can use that. The outdoor smells more skunky. I gifted the 3rd to a friend with an NF system to see how his would turn out.

I have 8 sagamartha smurf berrys and not one turned out to be a ruderelis and 8 autoflower ak48's and only one flwoered at 4 weeks and turned out beautiful just switched lightgs to 12/1w there giants and hope I'm not wasting my nutrients

Sagarmatha has been a very high quality producer of strains for many years but they are fairly new to autos ... which are something I detest and will never grow .... and I really don't think that Sagarmatha has the auto thing fully figured out yet.

Like most top breeders they resisted the feminized seeds thing for as long as they could but eventually gave in to now lose so much of the marketplace and then for the same reason, to retain sales, they went into autos just because people think they are good and people think they want them.

I would not hesitate a single second to purchase any of their other strains but for auto-lovers they might want to give Sagarmatha a bit of time to bring their autos up to the same level of quality as the rest of their line.

Not that it really matters at all, but for some reason it always bugs me that almost everyone spells Sagarmatha "sagamartha." I wonder why it is so difficult for so many people to get Sagarmatha's name right?

i wouldnt even read the whole post while telling you my experience on my smurfberry. 1st i got this strain early this year. it did not auto on me until 12/12 season outdoors, it grew more than 6ft tall. yields a lot, somewhat hardy plant, very easy to be infested by spider mites. the flowers were turning purplish even on hot climates, very easy i mean very very easy to clone just plug in soil and leave. i just had some new cuttings and 3 days already have a root without applying any root hormones. nice sweet smell. the mother was no success since a very harsh typhoon just destroyed her then manage to just kill it since i got a lot of clones doing exceptionally better which is now in flowering. could have prevented the spidermites if i knew better. over all this plant is awesome since i am not a big fan of autoflower. oh btw my clones are 2ft tall. and i got this seeds as free. so i wouldnt bitch much about the smurfberry.

I grew smurfberry and the same thing. They didn't trigger into flower under 18/6. I had to force them under 12/12. Yield was somewhat disappointing, for the size of the plant, but the smoke was good. Not GREAT, but good. One thing to keep in mind was while mine didn't smell that strong while flowering, once they started to cure, they really took on the berry smell. My whole stash started to smell like Crunchberry cereal. I got tired of it after a while because the berry taste was so strong. Sometimes you want your weed to smell/taste like weed.
