If I start seeds now indoor and veg until the beginning of January will the flower full term outdoors. I live in San Diego ca so I think its possible. Agree or disagree?

im sure it is very possible ive seen some of my friends make a cheap green house outta sticks and plastic wrap so it wouldnt freeze im guessing.

IMO it would be ok to veg indoors until january or whenever the weather there is warm enough to start flower outside. Keep in mind that if your weather is below 60F or above 85-90F, you run the risk of stressing the plant. Optimal temps would be between 65F and 85F. As long as it is in the 70's you should be fine. Your plant will love the natural sunlight too...

I'd say if you live in Cali I'd just make sure your protected from freezing and go at it. Just keep an eye on them and slowly move them outdoors so it's not such a shell shock to them.

Wish I could grow outdoors year round. Must be nice.

Yes, temperature is crucial. Any night below 60 is a no-no. Wont be fatal, but its putting stress on your cannabis. Second thing I didnt see mentioned already- dont plant outdoors unless you are getting 14 hours of light or more each day. Any less, and your weed may think its time to flower.

Flowering in January? The days are getting longer then. Bigger chance of hermies if you flower inside and then move them out I would think. Unless you wait to transplant outside when the days are longer than 12 hours of sunlight.

I agree with hotrodharley.

As long as you keep to the same photo period length every single day and keep the plant in total darkness for 12 hours a day, there shouldn't be any issue whatsoever. If you sway from that exact schedule, even for very minuscule amounts, you will stress your baby and cause issues.

Indoor just makes things so much easier. I am going to have some fun with my outdoors this next summer though to say the least!

Well I would think they would start flowering and end long before the sun was up for 12 hours. But how they would deal with the elongation of the daylight and the spectrum becomming more cool sounds like a really interesting experiment!
