Should I mess with them?

Is it only for indoor growing that Topping, Cropping, LSTing increases yield?

....since they are in the ground and have all the room in the world - is all the - Tweeking pointless..... ?

or will it help create a more even canopy and bigger buds overall?

or is "au natural" Christmas trees and height - they way to go?

There're different opinions about training outdoor. Here's some topics about it:

It'll be my first year tryin to train my plants so i'm gonna try a little of both, trained & untrained to see what suits me better. Search about which of your strains respond better in training & are mold resistant. That's a good way to choose the best plants for training.

LST is nice because it disguises the look of the plant. No christmas tree figure. Plus you can get small and I mean SMALL non flashy ornamental flowers from a craft store to twist tie around the limbs. Like dime size flowers. Not dense flowers but loose random patterns. I liked to use small white ones like some random weeds have around here. At a glance a trained plant looks nothing like marijuana other than the giant fan leaves.

I have done tons of reading on lst/supper cropping.scrog etc... and came to this simple conclusion...

do one on each of the same strains see what method produces the best results for you..

last year I went larger gal pots about 10-25 gals and grew em tall..

this year all the pots are 20+ gals doing a scrog on one lst on 3 +

my findings so far...

Topping.. I have only done this this year for the scrog/lst grows

supercropping (bending the branches) was the easiest no tools needed.. but was a PITA for re doing it every so often to keep the branches where you wanted them.. decent yield..

LST is pretty easy so far few bits of wire and a stick or so. min upkeep . have only seen other's yields so...

scrog involves a bit more work.. getting netting and materials and making sure the crop stays under it.. but larger yields from what I am seeing..
