Question to Guerilla Growers!!!

I live in Massachusetts. I was in the woods today trying to find a spot and the issue I’m running into is that it’s hard to tell where is going to be covered with summer foliage/ shrubbery to tuck my grow site into.... in other words- the woods are pretty bare..am I trying to find a location too early? Should I wait A
Couple more weeks for leaves and flowers to
Take off a bit?

My guerilla spots are in thick bramble patches deep in woods that get tons of light. Some of these bramble patches might be the size of a football field. I only plant one plant per spot. I have fished in a creek that runs through these woods since I was a kid and know the woods very well.

You should know your area very well from spring, summer, and fall. Most importantly you should have a pretty good idea who comes and goes in the woods during certain times of the year. If your just going to plant in unfamiliar territory find something somebody would not want to walk through to get to a spot. The sun drops by fall, where I live the sun is basically at a 45° angle come October so keep that in mind when planting.

Find a swamp all day sun no humping water.

I like to find large patches of stinging nettle (Urtica Dioica) near a swamp or water source with good light exposure and then plant my lady's right in the middle of the patch. Nettle is a great companion plant because it gives back nutrients to the soil, encourages beneficial insects and it grows wild in high fertility soils already rich in phosphorous and nitrogen. The best part is that its a great camouflage for guerrilla growing, MJ blends in really well with Nettles, AND people tend to avoid walking through nettles due to their prickly leaves and stems. I'm not sure how far along your woods are yet this spring, but nettles normally appear early spring and are easy to spot. Nettles grow up to be anywhere between 4 to 10 feet tall by the end of summer.
