Does anybody use the technique of trimming the sun leaves as your plants grow. It is a method I use especially early and to the top so more bud sites are formed. I dont really hear anybody talking about it on RIU.

It has made a huge impact on my grows. I have had plants that produce 5 ounces from multiple plants in the same grows even because of the method. Anybody else do this or is this something anybody has questions about for me?

I leave them alone until the last 10 days of flowering where I thin them off the plants to help let the light penetrate farther down...........or if they yellow up. They are little sugar factories and I just leave them alone. I'm assuming your reducing the size of each leaf, right?

no questions from me
Have you ever tried it?

You should try it on a plant. Take a look at my current grow. They have over 20 bud sites a peice and I have had huge harvests from it. 5 plants and over 550 Grams last time. It appears as though I will have a nice crop this next time as well. Just a suggestion but I dont hear much about it. I know there is alot of methods out there but I find it to not harm the plant or have to top if you just pluck some of the bogger ones. They replace themselves within 3 days anyway and has another buid site or two.
