OK so I've started a new grow it's been about a month an a week for these ladies an here very green healthy but for some reason the branches want to grow upward an not out word now there under a 600w MH could it be there too close or to far or should I dim the light thanks.20130515_194406.jpg20130515_194354(1).jpg20130515_194450.jpg

Many strains do that-- there are different "phenotypes" meaning the way they look/grow... many Kush and Hash crosses do that....

have you ever considered topping the or fimming? it directs the growth outward for a time being instead of upward like your having problems with.

I agree! if they are the right strain,(and most are!) Super-cropping, tying , topping or FIMing would be the way to get more branching-
but if it is a strain of say- Bubba Kush or Vanilla Kush etc... they do NOT like being topped or FIM'd and you end up with just a crapload of tiny buds and no mains.... you can tie them downward a bit and that may help... but again- depends on what strain it is!

See I wonder cause when I had my first grow before this one I start with fluorescent lights an white rhino was bushy but now that I'm using MG things are a lil diffrent but in all they look wonderful to me anyway the only one I had problems with was the small snow white in the back when she was a seedling she took a bad hit so I had to nurse it back so really it's a month an a week but late on growth
