Hey i was wondering if i should flower soon, my plants 70 days old from seed, about 7 inches tall, 400w metal halide, 5 gallon pot, i only watered with nutrients a few times, havent for a while because it gets burnt everytime i do. How much should i yeild? Its personal so i dont care , atleast more than an ounce i hope. This is also my third grow, other two failed,this ones going really good. I also low stress trained it and topped it a couple times.

depending on your strains you may get a ounce. not sure what you got going there, maybe sativas
but at 70 days from seed my plants have been topped once and are still 24 inches tall before they go to flower.
I expect a solid 4 ounces of dried manicured bud to result.

Is it okay that its that old and that short? Probably because i low stress trained it and topped it like 3 times, and i had cfls for probably the first 20-30days before i got the 400watt

sure, short plants like to bud too, just less than tall ones. my first grow was with a 400 watt. I was tickled with the results.

you bet, short old plants like to flower too. on closer inspection of your pic I think you'll do fine. my first was a 400 watt and I loved the results.

not familiar with that strain.
those plants are in one gallon pots, big foot flood/drain, technaflora kit, 21 days flower, 12/12 when all were topped to 12 inches after 50 days of veg.

Yea i still have tons of seeds so idk about cloning, dont really have the stuff to clone properly either but yea ill learn, so i should put it into flower soon? I was thinking january 1st, its showing preflowers too so its mature

its a choice when to flower. in nature many seedlings get smothered and stunted and still flower when the light changes. do it when you want to do it, makes no difference, except the bigger your plant in veg more likely larger yields.
i say clone it because....what if you find its the best smoke you ever had, spend your life searching for it, to no avail. what would your clone able friends think.

you dont need much to clone, you can do it in a water bottle or go spend $10 on jiffy pucks and some cloning powder/gell
