questions about gage green male, jo og

Hey, I was hoping one of the reps or fans could give me some answers. I have ran a half pack of daybreaker. Chem d x jo og. Very vigorous, grows fast and has great structure. Buds came out covered in trichs, but almost no taste or high. The smell was very sweet.

I got blessings og in flower now, same thing.. Easy to grow but smells very sweet. The same exact smell as daybreaker.

Ive grow many ogs, even have loompas headband bx. Ive also grown chem d and crosses. None smell sweet. Og and chem are two of my favorite flavors. Why are my crosses lacking. Im kind of dissapointed. I threw all my daybreakers out. Because they were crap. Im nervous about the blessings. And I have a bunch of charity just starting to flower. Im crossing my fingers.

I don't want sweet buds. I want fuel funk. What is jo og? I heard it was underdog? What is this sweet smell im getting and where is it coming from?

there is so many cuttings of that underdawg floating around who knows who has the real deal? Its supposed to be Pretty mutch like the original SourDiesel aka DayWreaker!!

Sorry to hear about your DB run. Results will vary between different people. But we have seen some incredible results from public grower feedback. Not every seed is gonna produce a champion plant (no matter who has made them) but there are special phenos to be found in there. Reason there are 10+ seeds per pack, selection is key for keepers and growing seeds out in larger numbers is the best way to achieve this.

The Jo OG does seem to pass on an injection of candy/fuel OG qualities, more sweet than raw fuel stank. That is where the sweet aroma is coming from ;)

Thanks for the info. I was under the misconception of jo og was off loompas headband. Candy is a good word to describe the smell. Don't get me wrong the plants look amazing. Mad frost and great explosive vigor.

Im just really bummed now because I don't want candy. I don't want any sweetness at all.

When buying og seeds. I want og flavor. Wondering now if I should scrap the charity too? Any body know if this produces og smoke?

I understand selection and the more you run the better chance of a keeper. I spent over 400 on gage green genetics and not finding one is going to be dissapointing for sure.

I'm a bit biased simply cause I like sativas and the pics they have to represent a Columbia/mexican sativa don't look like they should....I would only buy the grape/stompers

A lot of people like em though, weird they lack a high

I thought their Bright Moments had good bag appeal and lacked in high comparatively (quick tolerance build up, nice initially but too mellow for my tastes) .

Lack a high and a taste. For being so fragrant it's tasted like cigarettes. Chem is such an intense flavor. Og too, it's odd that these crosses all lack the moms genes. I have a good amount of elite clones, so I'm not hurting. Just wasted time, money, and space.

i admit I am a pot snob and a very picky son of a bitch. Maybe I have too high of standards?

All organic. Well, mostly. I use promix bx with myco. I put ammendments in the promix. I feed with an expensive ass nutes called nectar of the gods. Its awesome shit. I use their whole line.

Its all organic mix, smells like someone took a shit in the bottle's. lol

I know I can do it cheaper but its super convenient this way and its complete.

to add: I grow for personal use. taste is one of my top priorities. Yield is one of the last though I usually come out pretty good with my methods.

I have the 95 TahoeOg , TrueOg from Elementle and The real Deal Abusive all took lots of $ to get! Im always Hunting for Athentics! Would love to get the FaceOff and Ghost thats why i got the caspers i was hopeing to find a Ghost leaning Pheno..

I have the FO og clone as well. Always looking to trade between prop 215 patients if you are in the San Diego. " cdub's Cut " which was released prior to ThaDocta seed "s1 " ? . But the story goes, FO was gifted from grower that supplied Snoop Dog according to Cdub, and verified to be true by NightmareCreature. But who knows, sitting on a pack of Mango Puff by Gage Green, hope to pop them soon. Eagerly awaiting on the GSC cut Gage green is testing. I will be following your Charity OG grow and smoke report.

my face off is cdubs cut also. Got it from my homie in cali.

just recently scored fire og, sfv, and gsc forum cut. Pretty excited about these girls. Up here in mi it's hard to score real cuts, but its all about who you know and I bumped into the right guy. I have real bubba kush to change up the flavor every now and then. I love the taste and smell of sour d but tossed it last week because I couldn't get the damn thing to yeild.

I think I'm gonna be done with ceed runs. Too much crap. Maybe ill pop one every now and then just for fun, but I can't have unproven genetics take up all my space for me to be dissapointed.
