Questions About Lighting

Ok so I'm new here and I have some questions... I'm 16 and i have like 4 plants growing in my closet at home. They are well hidden but I just planted them yesterday in some pots with Miracle Grow potting soil and I stole a 20 Watt cfl from the bathroom and put it in a table lamp, which is leaning over at 180 degrees about 12 inches above the plant pots.

I know a single 20 watt cfl is pretty low quality, even for a poor little closet operation, so I'm asking what it would take to get a CFL fixture and 2 of the maximum wattage CFLs that I can get at the local hardware store. (I'm guessing it 40 watts is the best I can do because all we have here in bumfuck, Montana is a True Value.) Oh... and I would rather not spend more than $50 right now because right now I'm more interested in audio production than growing weed lol... just want some personal bud and maybe a little extra cash.

My advice is to throw it all in the garbage because you're just going to waste your time trying to grow 4 plants with 1 CFL bulb..... lol

Well if I can just get the seeds to start... I was planning on going and buying a fixture and two 40 watt CFLs. Would that be good enough for a space that is about 2 ft x 1ft? Also, the walls are covered in space blanket to improve the lighting lol. hope that works.

no it will grow and bud a plant but in the end you will not yield that much and the bds wont be much to talk about .

Ok Ok so can somebody tell me what kind of lighting i should get and how cheap it would be? I have like 50 seeds and I'm not going to let them go to waste lol.

oh well too late im gonna go buy some lights now... two 40 watt cfls and a fixture for them.
