heavy sativa in flower room ,in week 12 still 66+% white pistils
put a male cutting in room 2-3 weeks ago, pollen production is... everywhere :P

questions...
how long does it take to make good seeds? she is pretty far along in her flowering, i would guess.
I have clones of this girl so should i just chop her? she has some nice bud, but i put this male cutting in there to make seeds...
i want some smoke out of her.. seeds would be cool.. but i have other genetics i want to play with, shes too heavy sativa..

the father is a lemon kush

id appreciate your input..

6-8 weeks you should see them start to pop outta the calix...
alrighty, i know i wasnt exactly concise on my last message about as to what i am looking for...

But now with that...

I want some smoke out of this sativa, but i dont mind having to pick seeds out. But i have other girls in veg that i want to play around with breeding...

if i let this sativa thats in week 12 go until shes finished, would it be much different than if i chopped now (since she's most likely been pollinated).

in other words, now that shes pollinated, and her focus is on seeds less than bud, will the trichomes continue to mature, or halt in light of seed production.

Sativa strains will mature there seeds about a week or little later after the plant has finish flowering, so 13-15 weeks depending on the sativa strain. Its important you flush for all the final weeks while the seeds develop and mature. They transfer nutrients, mobile nutrients from the same stem. Nutes during final stages of maturing seeds tend to make seeds less viable. They are Hard and dark brown when mature, sometimes they pop out of the calaxes themselves. if not just harvest and pick them out.

okay... well shes been pollinated @ ~12 weeks.

so with this info im thinking ill just let her finish flowering, harvest, and pollinate her clones (2 weeks in flower) that are in right next to her when they hit around 3-4weeks.

&
@bold : This is just a two-three week flush right? Or by "all the final weeks" do you mean.... well... i dont know all the final weeks could be every week of the plants life, man lol.

Yep that sounds good, You can also take clones right after you cut your crop, Cut the plant down then take clones immediately after cut, So it wont stress your plant out while finishing up flowering, 20% of the harvest is produced in the last 2 weeks. Make sure you flush for those whole two weeks! I also keep my sativas in 48Hour darkness before harvest it will increase THC content by 1-5% in that time.
