Quick advice needed please !

Hello and thanks for looking in.

I have 5 plants in flower and 5 plants in Veg.

The 5 plants in flower i was hoping would be ready by now and have used ripen solutions to try and finish it early so i could harvest they still are a good week off looking at them.

Now what i would like to do is take them out of main flowering room which is under my 400 HID and place them back into the veg room on a 12/12 light and let them run there course the benefit is they can have as much time as they need to finish once in there. So would the fairly weak light in the veg room be enough the help them finish off ?????

I must take the flowering room back for my main 5 plants currently in the veg that need to go in these are my babies and i want these done 100% corrrectly giving at least 8 weeks i'm on holiday after that so pushed for time.

Well put the other 5 in the room with the 5 that are already flowering since all will be on 12/12 light .otherwise your hurting you original planst yeild as the last 2 weeks add the most weight and resin so youd be cutting the light in that part of the stage.A 400 watt hps can handle 10 plants without issue

Ok....last 2 weeks get the most weight. Keep the plants where they are, change the lights to 12/12 in the veg room. This should trigger flowering on them. You say a week or so for the others to finish. Just throw them in the flowering room then.


Really you can't go wrong here by doing what fletch said either. The main thing is DON'T take the ones that are about ready to finish and put them under unadequate light.

I would love to throw them into the flowering room but I'm running a hydro
due to the size of my tanks they don't allow me anymore space in there i have about 1 square meter.

Yes it is something i may look out in the future increase for a bigger hydro tank so it can take more plants but i am not at that stage yet.

I want to be good enough to do 5 plants correctly before i more on.

This is my last f**k up but at least when i put the veg into flower i will be running a true cycle without cutting any corners, cutting corners is the bit that hurts me the most.

I will take my chances something has to give i won't sacafise my current veg plants as they have grown from seed and are perfect so far. I would rather lose on this current crop which was not my choice as they were clones given to me by a friend seeing my supergirl veg plants done correctly from start to finish will hopefully make me feel better about the lose i will take on the clones what ever i get i will accept and put it down to experience.

You can't cut corners when growing that is the main thing i have learned here and is something i will never do again.
