Quick bud butter question

Hey folks!

I'm thinking about cooking up some cannabis butter using clippings from my plants later this afternoon.

Do the leaves and such NEED to be completely dried before cooking, or can I chop up some fresh plant and throw it in the pot?

Any help is appreciated

use dry or the stuff will taste like shit from all the chlorophyll and other stuff. Good butter is awesome. :blsmoke:

Thanks for the quick responses! +reps all round

Would you guys know if the AGE of the clippings would change the potency at all? I mean, some of the clipped leaves are bigger than my hand and sprouted up near the beginning of the plant's birth, and some clippings are tiny and sprouted up within the last couple of weeks.

Also, are leaves more potent than stems?

If not stored right they will break down.

Get rid of the fan leaves and stems.

stick with the clippings.
