He said actuall watts but just wanted to know what the equivalent would be.
Yeah but sounds odd I don't know one bulb that comes in 130w? I may be wrong but I always thought they come 125w, 250w & 300w. And generally bulbs that big that are CFL don't have there own box as such as there huge. Just a thought.... don't want him to be trying to grow with only 24w or something.

Somewhere between 400-600 watts. Does the box give the lumen output? Thats what really matters, that and color temp.

I have 85 watt cfls and they are equivalent to 300 Watt bulbs.

so i would say that 130 watt would be definatly around 500-550. Do they even make a 130 watt?

Equivulant watts mean shit!! it refers to equivulant to incandesant not HID, MH or HPS and is only refering to photopic lumins not scrotopic or PAR

that e*ay link states that those 130W (actual watts) bulbs are 550W (incandescence equivalent).

But think in actual Watts, since CFL wattages you find on Rollitup forums usually (99%) refer to actual wattage.

It says as well that they are 6400 Kelvin, that means that they are blueish and suitable for vegetative phase (plants before flowering, keeping moms alive etc.)

Furthermore, the bulbs are also suitable for B22 australian screw base ONLY, so WATCH OUT: you probably won't be able to attach it to the regular screw you have in UK.

bye :)
