quick disease question

hey, my friend has this dungeon like room that we wanted to stick a grow tent in.... its all nasty and and you can smell something (like mouldy or sumthin)

how can i disinfect all types of nasty shit in this room to prevent any types of pests or bacteria???

also is there a filter i can put on the intake that will disinfest air being pulled thru?

I would thoroughly spray the room with a mix of about 10% bleach with 90% water. That should kill most of the nasty crap that could be living in that dungeon.

To filter the air, I would recommend searching out an air filtration system that has a lifetime reusable metal filter and an ionizer system. Sharper Image used to make some great ones, but I couldn't point you in the direction of anything good now that Sharper Image went under. Last time I looked Home Depot sold a crappy little desktop ionizer for $90 or something stupid.
