Quick Help For Watering While Out Of Town? Indoor..

Right now my girls need to be watered atleast every 2 days at the minimum...Or they will droop real bad or fall over...This has already happend once ;) I will be out of town for 3 days coming up...Any good idea's for some type of system to do so? I don't have any trusted to come by and do so... This is a soil CFL grow indoors... :-| Any help is appreciated..
 
Bump because I am interested too. I wonder if there is some way you can have a container of water and some plastic tubes going from this to the pots.
 
Ive been working on something for awhile but havent had much luck either. For 3 days though that's not too bad. The old 2 liter bottles with holes will work fine. Google that if you need to. I will be gone for 9 days soon so I have to come up with something more elaborate....
 
In high summer my girls need 6 litres each every 24 - they are wilting if they go 36.
I have a battery operated watering timer which attaches to a tap (faucet) with plastic piping going to all the plants - you practice well and set it carefully when you go. I only use it in extremis as the girls get chlorinated water with no ferts, so far from ideal, but it keeps them alive for a week.

also have you ever heard of aqua globes? basically glass sticks that you fill w/ water and stick upside down into your soil and as the plant drinks water the oxygen bubbles release more water from the globe into your soil...never tried it out but i am sure it wouldn't be tough to remake

Looks like it could work good...hey dude the commercial was funny though something we would see at 3am informercial....haha Wonder if somewhere local has something like this though..

There's so way that aqua globe thing will water a pot plant for 2 weeks! Well, maybe if they're seedlings...lol. Shit, my girls drink a gallon or more every 2-3 days.
 
If you are only going to be away for 3 days from your plants you could just give it a little more than you usually would, which you say lasts for 2 days. Or as riddleme says "make it rain"
