i hid whilst i plugged in the bulb just in case, i also didnt leave it in for more then a couple of mins just incase BOOM, FIRE, DEAD.

Thanks for posting that. above. i tried to tell him that but he did it anyways. its dangerous and not meant to be done unless stated. i don't think there is a switchable ballast less than 250 watts is there?

your crazy it works mh buld in a hps ballast. im trying to put up a video to prove for a FACT this works and is SAFE.

mh take a few minutes to warm up and then come on and get brighter. a hps will light up dim and get brighter. a mh in a hps ballast will light up right now, thats all
