Quick question about choosing an appropriate air pump relative to pot volume

Evening fellow RIUers,

I had a quick question pertaining to choosing an appropriately powered air pump for my RDWC setup. I have 12, 6.6 gallon pots that are currently receiving diffused oxygen via an EcoPlus 5 air pump attached to a 12-site manifold with a combination of bubble disks and generic air stones in my pots. While I have received respectable root biomass' with this setup, I'm desiring to actually fill the volume of my pots to maximum capacity, (or at least attempting to) and generate more turbulence to really make those oxygenated H20 bubbles hit my net cups and stimulate lateral root growth. Can I get some recommendations on an air pump and air stones that can produce overly adequate amounts of diffused 02 to this setup? Budget isn't a concern, I just want to ensure I'm maximizing the volume of my pots to fill in with roots. Thanks a million in advance!

I use an Air7 and run 2 small rounds in the net pot and 10 large rounds in a 25 gallon cooler and have always had great results.
I use the same pumps in my 6 gallon buckets with 2 small in the net pot rounds and 4 large rounds in the bucket in veg and this is what my veg looks like going into flower. About 6 weeks in veg.

Hey 3squared, thanks for the reply. That's a brilliant idea to install small disks in your net cup, I'll have to give that a try in the future. Beautiful rootmass, btw.

Thank you.

I run 4 stones for each net pot. I put two small stones at the bottom of the basket and run another 2 large stones that hang a few inches below the basket. A zip tie in the lines to the basket holds them in place. They have been consumed by the roots in the above pic but you can see the line coming from the pot disappearing into the roots.

Awesome, and you have two additional stones submerged in your nute solution per pot?

3 gallon bucket =4 stones ( 4 permanent net stones - 2 small rounds 2 large rounds which are included in the counts below.)
6 gallon bucket= 6 stones (2 in the pot and 4 in the solution)
8 to 12 gallon bucket= 7 to 8 stones depending on the root mass. A larger root mass would get 7/smaller 8. (2 in the pot and all additional in the solution)

25 gallon flower a total of 12 stones. 4 net pot stones and an additional 8 added to the cooler. (2 in pot and 10 in solution)

All stoned added in veg stay with the plant as it moves to larger buckets but are left behind when sent into flower. The only stones that stay with the plant it's entire life are the 4 starting stones. This maximizes airflow and reduces issue's of buildup or possible algae or slime that could cause future harm to the plant. We would rather pay the extra $3 a stone then deal with plant problems or loss of air. Same with the airlines.
