Quick question about trimming fan leaves does it make my main colas bigger?

I just have a quick question, is it better to trim the lower fan leaves & small buds from a plant in flower?

Mines 40 days in and well the lower buds are so tiny, and I thought I heard that trimming lower fan leaves (not in direct light) can make your main colas bigger.

Whats the take on this?:leaf:

you can lolly pop then trim up everything a quarter to half way up, for me i see
better bud development and it helps get air through there to

This is something you would do 1 or 2 weeks into flowering at the most. Doing it now will stress the plant and you will get less not more. So save it for next time and yes you will get bigger buds.

Trim off the lower budsites (nodes) but not the actual leaves, and you will git bigger nugs up top. I do this mainly in the 2nd week of flower, and just pretty it up in the 4th. Never cut off a healthy leaf tho, that's going in reverse. Keeping the stretch to a minimum helps alot too. Goodluck

And we have a winner...so very correct he is....you can pinch the little budsites at anytime. Or leave them, harvest the top when its ready then finish the lower nugs a few weeks more. Sometimes those little fuckers can be kickass! Ever notice how much more resin is on the buds kinda hidden from direct light?
