Re sun light hours, with being in the Uk and the weather is sometimes sunny sometimes cloud rain etc...Has anyone got a half decent yield off these type of conditions~? I have a south facing garden so when it is sunny i can get the full 12 hours. The 3 girls were under a 250 watt enviro started in feb brought them out end of april. April May Veg and currently two weeks into flower starting beg june. I am force flowering by the way. Was hoping to catch the best of the sun in summer.

June aint been to bad, just this last week. Doing Church frm Gh. Did em indoors and was v happy with results. Considering I slate GH and they are inconistent with phenotypes they have produced some of my favorite beasts in the past.

So if anyone has any experience and can give me a heads up that would be sweet?. They are doing really well and lookin v healthy.

Two learning towards the Northern lights genetics and the other is a satvia which Im guessing is the swiss sativa... Ill try and get some pics up soon

Full sun or clouds if you are growing inside you are getting more light than undera 250 watt light. I live in the mountains and go days without sun and mine set in the opening of my barn doors. I do put them back under lights 1 hour before lights out to make sure that any mist or water vapor is dried off before lights out. Lots of dragging buckets around but for my growing conditions it is the best solution for my mold problem.
Good Luck

Thanks for your response. Not sure if i made it clear or not I only started them under a 250 enviro for a few weeks just to get them bigger enough so they would stand more of a chance outside. There in pots not the ground. In a nut shell I just wanted to know if anyone has got a decent yield with sometimes sun sometimes cloudy rain etc? I read alot of of 5 hrs directr sun a day min but to be fair in the uk we can have cloudy days quite a bit followed by quite a few good days. Would be impossible to guess how many sun hrs they get direct as clouds always floating about.

Another good day today tho :)

I live in the mountains of Costa Rica at roughly 2000 meters above sea level and certainly understand the days of cloud and rain vs sunny days. We receive over 150 inches of rain a year here and I am what I consider a hybrid grower. I move my plants in and out every day depending on the weather as to moving them totally outside or in the barndoor. In the barndoor they never see direct sun but it is very light, they do find there. I can see people saying 5 hours of direct sunlight but in reality MJ plants growing outside in the wild are going to be found growing in a variety of conditions from direct light to being in mottled light all day. I have one plant now that has never seen the daylight other than from under the shade of the barn, I cannot tell her from the sister clone that goes outside every chance she gets. The buds look the same densitywise, same shading of the leaves and such. The biggest problem I have not giving them any direct light is PM, but according to the weather service our relative humidity average in my location is 94% year round. Now add this to a year round temp of never lower than 52 or higher than 75 and a mean temp of 64 you have mold problems.
I use my lights to dry out the girls in the evening for an hour or so, if it has been misty or raining during the day. Hope that this helps a little, but you will know for yourself after this crop. You are going to find that there is much good info here and much info that will make you worry you arent' doing things correctly when infact you are doing fine.

Good Luck

Sweet for that dude. Interesting about the lady under the shade of the barn producing the same as the other that goes out. Am guessing genetics plays more of a part than i thought. Humiditys around 50 % day 35%night. So hopefully no mould probs my end. I have a shed I can whack em in if it rains and rains. Altho since flowering not been much at all rain. Touch wood.
Mega thanks for the info
