Quick Question for Mg Growers

I have 3 plants and 1 has showed it's sex and the other two are still undcided. They are all three in 5 gallon pots and the bottom leaves on all three are turning yellow and eventually falling off. It is the time released soil and I was wondering if it is nitrogen issues. I was just wondering if I could add any nutes at this point? This is my first grow and I'm using this as a learning experience. I will try and upload some pics tomorrow. Thanks

Well, I read that it was asking for touble if you used nutes with the mg time released soil. It is like the 6 mth kind. I havent been adding any nutes at all. What would u reccomend?

everyone complains about mg, im about to harvest my 5th mg grow.i use mg nutes the small side of the spoon , two dips per gallon trust me it works, its all ive used2012-07-17_12-03-39_667.jpg

Wow... Are you talking about the all purpose nutes that you can add to the water that comes in the boxes at like wall mart? I think it's called all purpose plant food?

Yellowing is a sign it needs more nitrogen, I would find some nutes made for mj veg cycle and go real easy the first couple times. Maybe 1/8 to 1/4 strength. The all purpose mg will work but I would only go 1/8 strength with it. It will burn the shit out of your plants if you over do it, I learned this the hard way.

the nutes come with a two sided spoon, the small side is a half tsp. two of those per gallon .1 tsp. i start with a half tsp pre gallon after the third node. u got any pics available?

This is a good reason to not use time released plant food soil. It could have run out of nitrogen but still have other nutes in it, and you go feed it with bottled nutes and end up burning it.

Yeah, Im going with some organic soil next grow so I know how much food they are getting and when. That is a awsome looking but that you have there in ur profile pic. I hope to have some buds like that 1 day. This is my first grow and I dont have access to the nurserys where i live, but I will make the trip next go around.

no prob, make sure u flush the shit out of those the last two weeks, nasty metal taste,nitrogen, ill check them out tomorrow
