Quick Question -- Leaves yellowing

Hey guys. My plant recently went into flowering and looks to be doing VERY good.

There are like 5 big water leaves that come direct from the middle stem and they are all the way around the plant, all around the same height, in the middle.

Everything looks very healthy and green but these are slowing fading yellow. Any idea why?

Yes. I'm growing and Indie right now that is bushy as hell and the larger fan leaves in the same position as yours are yellowing too.The other leaves on mine are green and healthy. What is happening is that those leaves are the oldest and since your plant is in flower stage;the older leafs donate their precious sugars to the flowering nodes. KEEP SMOKE ALIVE!!

I actually did give it a butt-load of nitrogen right before it went into flowering.

bloom/veg
water
bloom
water
bloom/veg
water
bloom
water
bloom/veg
water
bloom
water
bloom/veg

thats how my feeding schedule is going to look..that going to be alright?

Adding Nitrogen is good if you're trying to regenerate or if you want a more leafer bud at harvest, but if you're not revegging then why add more green growth to the plant if all you're looking for is full robust budding? It seem a waste to do that if yu're going to harvest the whole plant in it's life cycle.

take a look at my grow. the leaves were yellowing and i didnt do anything about it. huge mistake. the lower 1/4 of my plant died off slowly and the tops never continued to grow...

now, yea. because of really high temps and not enough water my girls had brown tips. me being a novice grower assumed it was over nuting. so i did not nute for 3 weeks. i thought of nuting again but i saw the nute burns again, confusing me even more.

I just looked at my girls, I dont see any reason to add growth to them but I am going to add some Grow Big every other feeding for the next two weeks to the plant that was pissed on by the dog. I cut off a branch so maybe I can get some extension on the colas.

We will see which buds turn out better, the one with or without growth ferts for the first two weeks. Then im sticking to my bloom feeding schedule and we'll see how it goes from there.

At what day should I start seeing crystals on the leaves? :D :D jw.

PS: The 5 huge leaves i was talking about are almost COMPLETELY yellow, seems like my girls took the juice right out of them and put them towards my flowers startin to form :D :D

Plant botany is a true science(on-hands). Every strain wants different things. Some more Nitrogen than others, even some do well without nutes, it's a science.

you plan on using molasses or anything added to your nutes? i have read the applejuice thread and have already started the experiment. appartently it helps make the buds fruitier. i cant wait until they fatten up!
