i use 3w and when i had it close enough to bleach it did so very slowly.. slow enough that i left it there for an extra day or two after i noticed it.. but that was just my experience.. and also tecdc911 was correct: it was only the buds that were under the blue lens that bleached for me.. and it definitely wasn't enough bleaching that i wouldn't smoke it.. if it was me i'd lower it half way to my final intended height for a cpl days then lower to where you want
mine has the uv and ir with 120 lenses and within 6-12 hr's it was bleached white/ orange working on being crispy
probably wasnt long enough for the blues to hurt honestly
the two are next to each other so hard to determine which one it was i do know 8-10 inches is too close to the scrog for my led's >.<

wow i just had a brain fart explode
i could just leave a hole of no vegetation under these two leds in the scrog and i wouldnt have to worry about it

CREE makes great LED's, i have used many of their products over the years and I am glad they are finally getting the attention they deserve. I use them at work on a daily basis, we use their X lamps mainly. Did you make this light fixture or did you purchase it? What brand is it?
The panels are Advanced LED Diamond Series XML. (aka DS XML 350). I'm not sure if there are forum rules prohibiting linking to other sites, but in my mind that's not how the internet works. So, I'm going to link to it because it might help me get answers. http://www.diamondseriesleds.com/ds-xml-350/

is this a journaled grow ? you got me interested now :p
I started a journal, but no one followed it, and until they flower there's nothing worth writing about, so I killed the journal. Nothing too exciting in terms of strains, but I am growing a few autopounders (and they look insane btw). I mean, they are only about 2.5 feet tall, but the top colas on them are like 18 inches tall and as fat as a one liter soda bottle. Two are squat and dense like that, but one is 4.5 feet tall and budded out as heavy as almost anything I've grown. I haven't been able to find any good completed grows of autopounder, so that's one reason why I'm running it. Instead of a journal, I might just do a post mortem with all the photos and yield and etc from those guys. I've been taking photos, so I will probably do that. Also, there are like 5 or 6 incomplete autopounder grow journals on the internet. Either the journals just die after two weeks, or the grower chops the plants like 2 weeks earlier for one reason or another. Mainly, it's a stupid name for a strain, but it also has a lot of people curious as to what it could do, so I figured I'd give it a run.
