quick question on flowering

first time grower here... and i was wondering... when a good time to flower was... like is there some specific branch system you might be looking for like if there are any branches... or just when you think its a good size just go for it... because my veg room isn't that tall... its about 2 and a half feet until its touching the lights... but my flowering room is as tall as 6 feet... so do i grow it all the way to the lights... or just when i want to start it...? any advice would be great... here is a couple pics of my plant as of 2 days ago...

well after lights are switched back to 12/12 your plant will get 1.5-3 times taller...usually about twice as tall...but this also depends on the size of your plant when you start flowering...
i personally don't like to switch to 12/12 tell there are signs of the preflower..but some strains will not show pre-flower tell you switch the light..but most will...
it depents on what type of light you are using and the heat from it for deciding how close the plants can get to in...i would play it safe though and give yourself more hight then you think you will need...cause you never know for sure how tall the plant will get

It is a matter of preference and size limits. Anywhere from a month - 3 months. It's what you want or are limited to. The plants do require at least a month of growth. They need to have that amount of time to form adquate root systems and foliage growth to carry on and produce.

hi man thats about right 2ft of veg then to the flowering room for finishing off. although some indicas stop growing altogether in the flowering stage so you must start them flowering at 3ft atleast. really nice healthy plants you've got.

Oh dear I never said anything about 2 or 3 feet before flowering. You can flower as soon as aprox. a month of growth. It's up to you when you want to put your plant into flower. The advantage to letting the plant get larger is that your crop is larger too. That is usually. You can never tell what might happen.

hey guys i just sent my plant into flowering.. hopefully its a female... i'll update as soon as i know what the sex is... or if i have any concerns... for now here are a couple of pictures
