I'll put a bought ounce into a glass mason jar...it does make a difference as I can notice the last buds are so much better than the first ones

No mason jars, read tub o ware bowls work though.

I can not explain why, but glass is SO much better than plastic......do give it a try, as a mason jar is a rather cheap investment and you will not be disappointed with its results

yeah...we all have $ limitations....but you can re-cycle a glass jam/food jar.... use a piece of plastic wrap in between the cap and jar, which will improve the seal

IMHO...apothecary jars are beautiful expensive jars but I question if they seal as good as a cheap mason jar....but they do look very lovely.
Personally I hide my jars in a dark environment, so I couldn't justify spending extra money for only aesthetics…so I think I’ll pass on these, unless there is some other value that I’m overlooking.

62% check out boveda humidipak...once the RH hits 65% in my jars during curing I stick a boveda 62% humidipak in and close the jar for 4-6 weeks. It comes out amazing. I have some in a small pint jar that has been vaccum sealed with a boveda and a hygrometer. It has been in there for 3 months and I plan to let it sit for 6 months. I tested the bud with cannalyse prior to sealing and will test after to see how the psychoactive properties have changed.

The cigar world likes these for a small or travel humidor....they are essentially water and salt to maintain a stable RH and they won't induce mold even if touching the cigars....it may work well for jars

Probably does not make a big difference but hypothetically start with two identical jars each with similar buds at 62%..... Both are stored in the dark at 70F/21C but one jar stored in an environment at 90% RH and the other in an environment at 10% RH.
Humidity is like air pressure and since no seal is perfect eventually one environment will impact/alter the other. The contents in the jar in the 90% environment will rise above 62% and the other jar will drop below 62%.
Don’t know how time would this take either scenario to create a noticeable difference, but storing your jars in an environment closer to your desired RH will extend the stability inside the jar.
