Quick questions about HID light I found

Okay, so I have a complete 400w HPS system bought, but I'm waiting until I move out-of-state before I turn her all on. My uncle is an electrician and owns his own business. He has TONS of street lights laying around the warehouse.

I found a small 70w HID flood light (photo attached) and a much bigger street light that I am unsure about how many watts it is.

They are both in GREAT shape.

I need to know if I should bother using it...?
If I should use the 70w HID for another small box 1ft by 1ft?
or
Should I use the larger HID for my vegatative or flowering stage?
(forgot which HID is good for)

Would I need to buy a ballast?

My uncle literally has 50 of these lights.
Please let me know what's up

Thanks in advance

Good news for you...I know those can be used for growing. Try to figure out which spectrum they emit, as some are better than others. Think about it: 70 x 50 = 3500w

Bad news? I have no idea how to wire them, deal with heat, etc.

Good find though, and I wish you the best of luck.

better find out what the output is from the perspective of the light spectrum. You need to know what type of light they produce to know if they will work well, regardless of cost or anything else..
