real quik question... i snipped clones, put them in those little black seedling trays, then placed them in a tupperware with an inch of water on bottom(as seen on sea of green by HANS)and they looked perky n shit all day and this morning, so i changed the water and put it in the light under the fan and checked again an hour or so later they were completely stumped over... :? any suggestions

I agree you need pics but from what you described it doesn't sound good. Read FAQ and learn how to clone.

I've never used a fan when cloning, I would think that your trying to keep in moisture not have it evaporate?

when people post problems an don't explain their opp an dont provide pics we just have to make gusses...if people were more specfic in earlier posts un-necssery questions wouldn't be needed..

I know what would happen to my clones if they were exposed to constant airflow and allowed the leaves to evaporate......he says it in the beginning. Unless this dude is really using hps on these things.....he should just quit.

well, i found a street light and found out how to rewire it in the very helpful updated faq and my grow has seemed to flourish since... :)

just the clones i snipped but i misted them and pulled them away from the direct ligh... i hope theyre ok cuz theyre all i want to take off my momma, i had them under flouros and 6 cfls with the cola can reflectors in a homemade cabinet, i put the new light in, moved the cfls lower, and put the t8s behind it vertical, it gets hot but if i leave the door open theyre fine

clones dont need much light ive read of people have the lights as far as 2 ft from the top of the clone with excellent results. i think that imo that that is because they try to use all their energy towards photosynthesis and not root development. just my thought.
