R/P - SKYWALKER round 2

Yeah I did clone my SW. I have 2 clones running right now. One exploded and the othe kind of dwarf for awhile. Think it was a weak cut I took. I was anxious to keep her and she wasn't taking to clone very easy. Either way, my clones are running.

I have Master Kush by Nirvana seeds and some Green love potions that started as freebies and kicked ass so much I moved my og18s out to keep the GLP clones. Tastes is very similiar to my grandaddypurps but better. Serious like the smell and taste is straight up purple skittles. I ran A LOT of grandaddies this year and can honestly tell you Herc, go get Samsara seeds Green Love Potion. The plant grow healthier and the smoke is better. Resin production is damn near the same. These plants are very similiar, it's just, the GLP is much better. It beat out og18......... And by the way, the og18 tastes amazing.

I just cut down my last grandaddies. They were topped and tied down to the sides of the totes they were in. They were pretty big. If you grow this strain, do not top it. The grandaddies I grew this year that were not topped, consistently gave good bud from top to bottom. When topped they grow into themselves pretty bad. I don't know, maybe I grew too much of this strain..... GLP is better.

I just ordered lemon og kush from DNA, reserva kosher kush, reserva SKyWalker(10 more), applejack Seedism, sour diesel Cali Connection, true blueberry dj shorts, orange bud Flying Dutchmen, more GLP Samsara Seeds, and some more master kush from Nirvana. My next grow.. Gonna do a pheno hunt then start the year.

Strawberry banana almost had me... They are so expensive though....seriously, I have something like 70 some beans for next season... I probably need like 10. Wtf?

Anyway, I am most likely going to buy some strawberry banana soon as well. Gives me a feeling of security knowing I have amazing genetics at hand.

Reserva is great.

Oh and smoking my SW everyday has been a fucking treat! Wow.

the way the skywalker smokes is why i go to extremes to grow it & untill something showes me better s/w is hanging out 1 of those plants is from pheno #3 that gave me a few seeds so it had to of pollinated itself im gonna put it up front & if i get a few sac's im gonna collect it in a baggie & pollinate the gdp a few years ago i crossed sannies jackberry with superlemonhaze as well as gage green lemonstomper but for now thats only a pipe dream ive reduced my grows to only 4 plants im gonna downsize my orders to pic & mix my next order will most likely be lemon og & cannalope kush im coming off a bad winter so i know you understand some of this is gonna have to finance itself im gonna try to split my next order with a fellow grower & im hoping to keep everything around my house at least as good as the skywalker which in my opinion is way underated anyone who has tried mine is hounding me for more & i live in cen-cal not far from sac. or the bay area & there is no shortage of the clone-only stuff to compare to skywalker is the shit

took a few pics this morning not a lot of visable change the buds are getting dense to the point the limbs are sagging in spite of the screen buds are encased in a sticky og funk

My Grandaddies liked to throw I out nuts late in flower. No matter what i did they still hermied up. Wasn't bad though. Just a couple, nothing to fuck up anything else. And hey, if they are fems inpregnating themselves, well, then I will take the feminized seeds they create!
I crossed Master kush and GDP. = Master Purple

Saved the beans but they could be nothing too.... We will see

nice herk! Im going with reserve next what do you suggest. I like the looks of the kosher

All the walker I have had here in So cal is meh at best

kosher gets really good reviews ive grown holy grail which has kosher in it im really wanting to grow kosher tangie i know next to nothing about any version of skywalker but the r/p one that im growing now i just love it it's the closest thing ive found to a cut of 707 headband i was foolish enough to let get away im down to 1 pheno of the s/w all were good but #3 was my favorite #2 was eleminated because of poor yield & next to impossible to clone that being said its buds were so hard a grinder was a must pheno #1&#3 were identical #4 had more side branching

I only ordered the one bean and it has been a good producer for me. I will be able to pick another pheno from the other beans I ordered.

I thought about tangie but instead went for orange bud front dutch passion. I think the skunk genetics are closer and more prominent. I am basing this on ancestry not experience. I am after the old school skunk funk not necessarily the citrus.

Malicifice, Randies pose is epic there. Didn't mean to be harsh. I am serious, it sucks your walker has been meh.. It has an amazing, and uplifting high to it. I have og18 right next to it and when I smell the jars separately, the og18 smells more lemonish but not quite as enticing. Hard to explain, maybe I got a good pheno. Or maybe the people you got it from had a shit pheno. Or maybe it was skywalker from Dutch passion which from what I understand is completely different from the Reserva Privada Skywalker sweetness. Never know..

supposedly skywalker [not the d/p one] is also known as sativa kush & some guy named ron had something to do with it & the 3 fingered leaves & clawing are trade marks of the true skywalker strain r/p probably found skywalker & as they say crossed it with og 18 some phenos probably lean either way during the week riu was down i found a thread on another site & posted pics but was pretty much ignored but mine appeared very much like their elite cut there is so many strains out there & i cant tell what is authentic or not i only care if its dank or not & this is dank

hey ray have you looked at rks [really killer skunk] from r/p-dna ??? or shoreline from devils harvest those are supposed to be really funky skunky

Yeah I looked at RKS but not the other.. Will check it out. The RKS has me intrigued but when I did the forum research I ended up going with orange bud. I also wanted to grab DP genetics for once. I will probably give RKS a run someday if I don't find it with Orange Bud.
I'm telling you, this shit we had in Minnesota back in the day was so skunky it was unmanageable. I'm looking for it and it seems I'm not the only one.

hey scroga i think youre right, now for your question about why we're into this skywalker so much i tried holy grail & i tried their og & neither quite gave the result i wanted so i was really skeptical when i ordered the skywalker & almost scrapped it when i had problems getting it to bud i even ordered something to replace it but ended up seeing it through its not the prettiest & dont produce big buds but rather rock-hard thumb size nugs that are just loaded with og funk/pine/earth flavor & its potent enough with a sense of well being to it & maybe its not for everybody i just love it & so far so has everyone ive let try it ive grown stuff from gage green ,sannie,sub-cool,greenhouse, barneys,female seeds dna/rp & some clone onlys not saying its the best but pretty damned good i know there is stuff out there that might be better but i have this now & that old saying about a bird in hand holds true here & im gonna run with it for now here is todays pics next grow im gonna advance to a more aggressive feeding schedule a little sooner into the bud cycle ive been leaving 2ml.-gal. grow nutes in my schedule & things are staying green when i advance to ripen ill remove it

Its becoming a factor when I keep strains now..sounds like you've tried some good high end beans, good to know that it beat out the HGK, how many of those did you pop? Have you tried any SW crosses?

the hgk was cloned from a friends grow which started out from a 6-pack [attitude] the hgk averaged 2 zips a plant for me but lacked the flavor & the high of the s/w as far as s/w crosses ive heard jedi is a s/w cross but not sure i know ive commented enough in this thread about s/w that i probably look like a nut-case next thread im gonna condence it down to basics instead of a bunch of ramblings but in a nutshell i really enjoy the high & also it releives the neuropathy in my feet legs & knees the best of anything ive tried so far allowing me a decent nights sleep
