Rabbit manure vs ewc

Not trying to be combative but I have both bucks and does and I use the manure from both and haven't seen any issues nor have I found anything online to support the salt claim. Much less the difference between male and female manure. Where are you getting your info from ? I'd like to give it a read . Showing a rabbit doesn't have anything to do with the contents of manure. So I'm confused why that aspect was mentioned for salt being in the manure .

I have had problems but im not sure what is causing the problems. Everytime i add rabbit manure my plants beging to yellow on top leaves woth big brown chuncks. Then the leaves curl dead and the problem moves down the plant. The first time i was adding one cup per week. The next run i put an even layer accross the top. Both had the same effects. Im gonna keep killing plants till i get it right lol

The manure shouldn't touch the plant . Even tho you can use it fresh its still high in nitrogen . Rabbit manure is safe to use because it slowly breaks down in the soil. I posted. Link above that would be a good read for you

I had that site bookmarked. So i always keep a 1 in circle clear around the stem. The first run i took it strait from the cage. The 2nd i tried to let it sit for a week or 2 before i used. I was thinking it was amonia after the 1st run. My next option is wondering if the manure is messing up ph...

It's definitely possible. Most of the time I'm. Putting manure in the plastic water troff I use to mix soil in so it sets and cooks most of the time, occasionally ill use a little fresh but not on anything in a container .

I use wood pellets to soak up urine. Sometimes the droppings will sit in that for a little too long. Im debating raising the rabbit cage so the droppings do not sit as long

If its an outdoor set up. Have your cage up like high enough it's easy to get in and out of the cage for you and let the dropping fall and build up they will break down and attract worms then you can scoop them up for later use

My family raised rabbits when I was growing up, manure is fine out of the box, just don’t overdo it. Work it in nicely and you’ll be fine.

REALLY what world are you living in ?The BUCKS(MALES) have the salt. If you have a purebred dog, do you feed it alpo, niether does a show rabbit it eats THE BEST ✔
And their droppings are 10× better than eating grass ✔ How much do you know about live stocks and manures. Manures, you mix with 1- part bone meal (raw 4-12-0) and 5-parts manures.

Actually alot. I grew up in 4h and ffa and raise many types of fowl show and production along with the rabbits which are for manure and meat so they would constitute show as well and horses. Again never a issue . Male rabbit manure is the same as female manure no difference because you feed and care for them the same .

Rabbit manure is packed with nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, minerals and micronutrients. It contains beneficial trace elements such as calcium, magnesium, boron, zinc, manganese, sulfur, copper and cobalt..... it isn't sex specific .

I hope this thread can get over the sour stuff and ends up filled with soil tests of ew vs pellets. Terpene results from side by sides. Im going to keep high hopes for this thread.

You can find the manure tests all over the internet. What you will not find is that manure contents is sex specific or pedigree specific . I have used many manures my entire life , so thats hands on experience , I also have show experience . Pet or show experience means nothing its animal husbandry on proper care for an animal. Which still doesn't make manure contents different by sex. I use it on flowers, herbs, garden plants and cannabis and have done so for many years

Are rabbits supposed to have 90% diet of Timothy hay and suppliment w pellets? I use an organic pellet but fear he eats too much. He slso gets fresh leaves.

Rabbit pellets are generally a mix of alfalfa and Timothy hay. But you would have to read the bag label because each brand can vary . What I feed is a pellet mix of Timothy and alfalfa and add alfalfa cubes . They eat plenty and stay healthy . Of course they get other grasses and such as well .

I think there are like 64 ingredients. It is from Modesto Milling. It was almost impossible to find organic.
