I'm sure a lot of you get these calls every day like I do. There are at least 2-3 that call regularly. They get to bypass DNC list because they "partner" with your credit card company.

I'm trying a new tack with 'em. Just tried it for first time, will continue for a while anyway and see if it changes anything.

I go ahead and push the 1 to talk to an agent. I let them go on and on, ask questions, keep them on as long as possible. When it finally gets to point where I have to close the deal, I start talking about something like politics. Finally I tell them that every time they call I will waste as much of their time as I can but will never ever buy their service. It's an experiment to see if I get taken off any lists.

I know ppl are busy but anyone who is able to should try this.

I like this very much. I'll let you know if it works. Somehow my cell number got on a list and now I get calls everyday.

Haha I'm from australia and we get cunts from India calling trying to scam, there like please sir your computer is broken turn it on and we will help fix it, UM WTF so I pretend I'm Australian federal police rave shit for 10 mins then yell and scream and mash the keys. Once I'm done my girlfriend tells me to get a life, then we smoke up an have sex

Ha that's funny. Next time just pick up the phone and say "sshhhhhhh", then hang up.

When asked for so and so I just say "yeah hol on" and put the phone down. No one ever waits more than a few minutes

yeah..see, I put that in the same category as simply hanging up on them. happens all day, every day right? cost of doing business, and expected. but what about someone that does what I am doing? really eating up 10, 20 min or more of their time. I think I might get put on their own DNC list.
