I refuse to pay a hundred or more for a fricken plastic barrel with a spout. I live in a rural area where 55 gallon food grade drums are not available..so Menards sale 33 gal trash can for 20 bucks and about 25 more in fittings and hose I ordered from Amazon and my indoor watering system lives and works greatDSC00270.JPG I bring rain water in in buckets and then siphon to the barrel if they're heavy

i have 2x 35 gallon roughneck tubs i use for water storage. make sure you keep a lid on it and keep the water bubbled 24/7 so the water doesn't get stagnant and spoil. also keep an eye on the bottom of the water tub for any sediment. i change and wash my tub every 3 weeks just as a precaution. h2o2 is a great water additive, but not if your growing in living soil. it will kill all the benies in the soil.
