Rain during flowering

Hello, i have a question about rain and flowering. i live in upstate NY and today it has been raining all day with scattered downpours. winds W 20mph and the humidity is staying at 85-90%. these plants are about 3-4.5 weeks into flowering. tomorrow is supposed to be overcast all day hopefully no showers. sooo my question is... will the plant be harmed because of rain all day, 85-90% humidity, and a low of 45 farenheight tonight? because im sure theres going to be much more rain very soon up in NY as we get closer to winter

im pretty sure youll be ok. i got the same rain yesterday and the same temps. my ladies are fine freezing temp would be your only problem no dumb questions

ok i can only hope. if i was to put a clear tarp over the plant before rain falls, but some of the buds were touching to tarp would that cause mold?

Best not to cover them, just give them a good shake after the rain and keep a close eye on them for bud rot or mold.

It could cause mold. Its not for sure going to cause mold. Its like smoking could cause lung cancer but not all smokers get it. Is it normal for you fellas up there to get tornadoes?

The strain is either going to be mold resistant or not...not much ya can do..some mold/mildew is better than pulling a plant 2 or 3 weeks early...if no signs of mold yet I say she is fairly mold resistant and you are probably fine...bigger question is when the winds are whipping at 25mlh and the buds are wet and heavy make sure ya check on first thing in am to stake uo any ladies that fall..because they will rot on the wet ground.

build it high enough over the plants so they dont touch. touchings not good!

Guys the only problem with the tarp is i have to make it as low as possible and the plant is 4.2 ft. its a guerrilla grow

tarp + wind usually spells disaster, unless it's very well tied
fellow NYer, moved indoors a ways back, in NY you take what the weather gives you
nice looking plant, with some luck you will be very happy with another 3-4 weeks of frost free weather

^^ not to mention..even a tarp can not prevent the humidity which is the real problem...and the wind....I would love to finally find a very fast finisher photoperiod plant..no autos..they suck that is mold resistant to grow outdoors...every year I harvest around october 10th-30th which is too late..would love to find a september plant.
