Rain Harvesting

I need to chop some stuff but it has been raining all day and they're out in it. Can I just chop 'em and make sure to leave the ceiling fan on or something for the first day?
The rain is freaking me out.
Anyone have experience with this?
Responses needed ASAP.

are you going to be manicuring them right away?

How long is it going to be raining?

Just give the branches a good shake after you cut them down to get excess water off

I don't like to trim right away so no.
All day.
So I guess I'll be vigorously shaking before I hang 'em.
